Frequently asked questions

Here, we've answered our most frequently asked questions. If your question isn't answered below, please contact us.

No. It's illegal in Australia to supply nicotine for sale. It is legal in all states to import nicotine for personal use from overseas without a prescription prescribed by a medical health professional. Due to this, none of our flavours contain any traces of nicotine. Sydney Vape Co is firmly against these laws and are strong advocates for standing up to our government to allow the sale of e-liquids containing nicotine. You can find out more about Australian vaping laws here.

The legal age to purchase devices, flavours or equipment intended for vaping is 18 years of age. All products on our site are restricted to those over the age of 18. We do not condone selling to minors and take appropriate measures to ensure our flavours are not sold to those under the age of 18

No, we do not use any concentrates containing any traces of diacetyl or any diacetyl replacements such as Acetoin, Acetyl pryopyl and other diketones. Several e-liquid vendors on the market still contain replacement diacetyl chemicals Acetoin and Acetyl pryopyl. To be on the safe side and ensure your vaping experience is as safe as possible, we have not included any concentrates that include any diketones in our e-liquids. You can find out more about diketones and popcorn lung here.

All our e-liquids contain USP grade propylene glycol and USP grade vegetable glycerin and are sourced from Vegetable Glycerin Australia which are located in Queensland. We use natural and artificial flavours sourced from the following reputable international concentrate manufacturers: Inawera, Flavour Art, The Flavour Apprentice, Lorann, Flavour West and Capella. All our suppliers concentrates used in Sydney Vape Co e-liquids are certified food-grade and are therefore safe to ingest and vape. You can find out more about PG and VG here.

30ml bottles should last you approximately 5-10 days
60ml bottles should last 10-20 days
120ml bottles should last you 20-40 days.
This is indicative use for an average user. Your average vape tank has a 1-5ml capacity and this often lasts an average user half a day or a whole day of use. This is subject to how much you vape and on what device. If you are using a box mod with a higher wattage, you will go through e-liquid faster.

Our e-liquids do not have an expiry date printed on the bottles. Proypol Glycerin and Vegetable Glycol in e-liquids generally last roughly 1-2 years when properly stored in a cool dry place, while the natural and artificial flavour concentrates used in our e-liquid flavours all have varying shelf lives. We recommend consuming your e-liquid bottles within 6 months of purchase to be on the safe side. E-liquid bottles that have been exposed to heat and light for a long period of time have a shorter shelf life. If you haven't used your e-liquid bottle for a while we recommend shaking your bottle before use as the denser components sink to the bottom over time. We advise you exercise the same caution you would with food products; if your e-juice smells or looks funny, it’s probably off, especially if it’s over a year old.

If you are not adding nicotine to our flavours, you do not need to steep them as they are already pre-steeped. If you are adding nicotine to your flavour and are steeping via the resting method, we recommend a minimum steeping time of one week or longer. View our steeping guide to learn how to steep your flavours.

VG stands for Vegetable glycerine, while PG stands for propylene glycol. All our e-liquids at this current point in time come have a ratio of 70% VG and 30% PG. This is to ensure we can keep costs low, you get cheapest possible price and to also ensure consistency in the quality of our flavours. You can learn more about VG and PG here

Yes. Our e-liquids are vegan friendly. No animal parts or animal testing is involved in any part of the creation process. All our e-liquids use vegetable glycern and propylene glycol as the base ingredients. Vegetable glycerine is produced from plant oils, typically soy or coconut oil. Propylene glycol is an organic compound produced from petroleum (don't be alarmed, it's much safer than it sounds as it's been used safely with plenty of research behind it in food products for decades). All our flavour concentrates are natural flavourings derived from plants, fruits and vegetables. Even our dessert flavours with cream bases are plant-based. No real eggs, milk or butter are used in any of our dessert/cream-based flavours.
